Micro mini goldendoodle and mini bernedoodle puppies
>
Designer Mini Doodles is a small family breeding program producing micro, toy, and mini goldendoodle puppies alongside mini bernedoodle puppies. Every pairing is planned around health testing, temperament, and predictable adult size — then raised through Early Neurological Stimulation and started on housebreaking before they leave.

Trained in the scienceBS in Animal Biology with a minor in Genetics, Stockton University — applied directly to how pairings are chosen.
Years in doodlesA long-running program in goldendoodles and, before that, French Bulldogs — not a first-litter hobby operation.
Raised, not just whelpedENS from day three, early crate and potty introduction, and daily household handling before placement.
Micro, toy, mini: what the size names actually mean
“Micro mini goldendoodle” is a marketing term before it is a standard one, and different breeders use it to mean different dogs. Here is how we use it, so you know what you are actually reserving. Adult size is projected from the sire and dam and the generation of the cross — an F1b out of a toy poodle stud will finish smaller than an F1 out of a standard.
| Category | Adult weight | Adult height | Best suited to |
|---|---|---|---|
| Teacup goldendoodle | [CONFIRM] lb | [CONFIRM] in | Apartments, low-activity homes, adults-only households |
| Micro / micro mini goldendoodle | 10–16 lb | [CONFIRM] in | Condos, travel, first-time owners wanting a small dog |
| Toy goldendoodle | [CONFIRM] lb | [CONFIRM] in | Smaller homes with older children |
| Mini goldendoodle | [CONFIRM] lb | [CONFIRM] in | Families with kids, active households, hiking and travel |
| Mini bernedoodle | [CONFIRM] lb | [CONFIRM] in | Families wanting a calmer, heavier-boned doodle |
If you are deciding between two categories, the honest answer is usually to go one size up. Buyers who chase the smallest possible dog more often end up disappointed in structure and hardiness than buyers who accept a few extra pounds. We will tell you on the phone if a litter is a poor fit for what you described.
Sizes we currently place: micro goldendoodle puppies, mini goldendoodle puppies, toy goldendoodles, and teacup goldendoodles.
What a mini golden doodle breeder should be able to show you
Most of what separates breeding programs is invisible in a photo. These are the parts of ours we will document for you before you send a deposit — and the same questions worth asking any breeder you are comparing us against.
-
Health testing on both parents
[CONFIRM WHICH: OFA hips/elbows, cardiac, CAER eyes, and breed-relevant genetic panels such as PRA, vWD, DM.] Results available on request.
-
Genetics-led pairings
Coat type, color, and projected adult size are planned from the parents’ genotypes, not guessed from how the litter looks at four weeks.
-
Early Neurological Stimulation
The Bio Sensor handling protocol, run days 3 through 16, to build stress tolerance before the socialization window opens.
-
Whelping and rearing
Litters are whelped indoors and raised underfoot, with household sound exposure, surface variety, and crate introduction before eight weeks.
-
Housebreaking head start
Puppies leave already introduced to a potty routine, which is the single biggest difference new owners notice in the first two weeks.
-
Vet clearance at placement
[CONFIRM: exam, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming schedule, microchip, and the terms of your health guarantee.]

Mini bernedoodle puppies for sale

The mini bernedoodle crosses a Bernese Mountain Dog with a miniature or toy poodle. In temperament it is the steadier of the two breeds we produce: slower to rev up, heavier in the body, and generally more content to lie down in a room full of people than a goldendoodle of the same age.
That calm comes with trade-offs worth knowing before you reserve one. The Bernese side brings a shorter average lifespan and a higher cancer incidence than the poodle side, which is why the health testing on a bernedoodle dam or sire matters more, not less. The tri-color coat most buyers want is also the least predictable outcome in any given litter — we will never promise markings we cannot guarantee.
Coat is typically low-shedding but not non-shedding, and it mats. Budget for grooming every six to eight weeks for the life of the dog.

How placement works
We place a limited number of puppies a year and we screen homes rather than take the first deposit that clears. The process is short but it is a conversation, not a checkout.
- Talk first. Call us or text us! Tell us your household, your activity level, and the size you are picturing. We will tell you which litters actually fit.
- Reserve. A [CONFIRM AMOUNT] deposit holds your place in a litter. [CONFIRM: refund and transfer terms.]
- Selection. Picks go in reserve order at [CONFIRM AGE], once temperament and projected size are clear enough to match puppies to homes honestly.
- Go home. Pickup in [CONFIRM LOCATION], or nationwide delivery. [CONFIRM: flight nanny vs. ground transport, and cost.]
Financing is available if that makes the timing work — see financing options.
Questions buyers actually ask
What is the difference between a micro mini goldendoodle and a mini goldendoodle?
Size, and that is genuinely it — they are the same cross at different projected adult weights. We use micro mini for dogs projected around 10 to 16 pounds and mini for dogs above that. Neither is a separate breed, and no registry recognizes the terms, so ask any breeder using them what weight range they mean.
Are goldendoodles actually hypoallergenic?
No dog is. Goldendoodles produce less loose dander and hair than a golden retriever, which is why many allergy-sensitive homes tolerate them, but the allergen itself is in saliva and skin, not only in shed coat. If someone in the house has a serious allergy, spend time with an adult doodle before you reserve a puppy.
How much do your puppies cost?
[CONFIRM RANGE.] Price varies by size category, generation, and coat. We publish the range rather than quoting on demand because we would rather you self-select than be sold to.
Do you ship puppies?
We arrange nationwide delivery. [CONFIRM: method, whether you meet buyers partway, and what delivery costs.] We do not put young puppies in cargo.
How much grooming does a mini goldendoodle need?
A professional groom every six to eight weeks, plus brushing two or three times a week at home. Wavy and curly coats mat quickly during the coat change around eight to twelve months, and that is when most owners get caught out.
What health guarantee comes with a puppy?
[CONFIRM: duration, what is covered, and what the buyer must do to keep it valid — e.g. a vet exam within a set number of days.]
